Deanne Newland is a contemporary artist based in Lake Macquarie on the east coast of Australia. With a deep passion for art and a strong connection to her local environment, her studio Coastal Colours, serves as a creative sanctuary where she brings her artistic visions to life. Here, she creates vibrant artworks, hosts engaging mini-exhibitions, and offers private art sessions that foster creativity and self-expression.
Drawing inspiration from the stunning beaches, tranquil lake, and coastal bushland that surround her, Deanne has a deep connection with the native flora and natural beauty of the coastline. This connection informs her artistic practice and infuses her work with a sense of place and harmony.
Throughout her career she has conducted numerous art workshops, organized artists retreats abroad and actively participated in both group and solo exhibitions within the vibrant artistic community of Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.
